In an effort to ease the pain, Photoshop’s Senior Product Manager, Zorana Gee  has let loose a sneak peek video demoing Focus Masks, an upcoming new feature for Photoshop CC.

We all know selections can be hell. So Focus Masks will add another way to make an automatic selection based on parts of the image that are in focus, as opposed to out of focus.
