Instagram introduces new creative editing tools to help you fine-tune your photos

With version 6.0 rolling out today, uber-popular photo- and video-sharing service Instagram is introducing a slew of new creative tools to its Android and iOS apps.

Instagram says it’s striving to give its users “everything they need” from a photo-editing perspective, directly from within the app. Now when you select a filter, you’ll see a new wrench icon which you tap to reveal a tray of photo-editing tools.

You’ll be able to tweak your handiwork with Adjust and Vignette, as well as fine-tune the colors with Warmth, Saturation, Brightness, Contrast, Highlights, and Shadows.

Additionally, you can now double-tap on filters to adjust the filter strength, and Sharpen up your photos to make them a little more clear.
