Robotvision: Augmented Reality with Microsoft’s Bing and the iPhone

RobotvisionRobotvision is an iPhone application that shows you points of interest (POI) nearby on your iPhone using Bing.

Yes, Bing, Microsoft’s new search engine. That might just explain those exploding iPhones we have been hearing about lately.

Besides points of interest you can also browse GEOtagged photos from Flickr and read tweets that were tweeted near you. The app lets you pick a radius from where you will see results.

If you hold the iPhone in front of you you see the augmented reality view and if you point it to the ground a map apears so you can see where you are.
