Kodak Moments app update lets you share and print photos more easily

Kodak Moments app update lets you share and print photos more easily

It’s super easy to shoot photos from your smartphone, but printing them poses a dilemma. Some people possess those fancy photo printers where they can immediately choose what photos to print — provided they have a fully stocked ink and paper supply.

Or they can print photos the old-fashioned way — at one of those one-hour places or the drugstore. A new update to the Kodak Moments app removes a small but nagging obstacle from the process by allowing you to immediately send your print order via Wi-Fi to the Kodak Printer Kiosk directly from the app in stores like Target and CVS.

You can also opt to order prints from the app and either pick them up the same day or have them delivered.

In addition, you can access, share and print photos to and from social networks like Instagram, Facebook, Flickr and Dropbox. Photo prints are available in sizes from 4×6 to 24×36 inches, including square. The kiosk offers options to print items like photo books and greeting cards.

The app also offers ample opportunity for simple edits such as zoom, crop and removing red eye, alongside a selection of 19 custom photo filters.

Kodak Moments is available on the App Store for both iPhone and iPad and the Google Play store.
