Find your Reddit soulmate with this tool that scans which subreddits you like

Find your Reddit soulmate with this tool that scans which subreddits you like

It’s a day for Reddit tools. Earlier I wrote about one that’ll show you what was on the frontpage when you first signed up, now here’s one that shows you redditors with similar interests.

Built by MoederPoeder, based on an idea that popped up on /r/SomeoneMakeThis, Checkly.io compares your subreddit choices with those of others who sign up for the tool.

You can then see what interests you share and message them.

Smartly, it discounts the ones you’re subscribed to by default when you join Reddit to make sure it’s only your personal choices that count.

The <3 of EU tech

The latest rumblings from the EU tech scene, a story from our wise ol' founder Boris, and some questionable AI art. It's free, every week, in your inbox. Sign up now!

It is a little limited by being opt-in – which it has to be due to the API – but if it takes off, it could become a really good way of finding new friends with similar interests.

Or, if you use a more porn-saturated alt account, a way of discovering people who share your kinks. Just putting that…um…out there.
