Shazam now works on your Android watch

Shazam now works on your Android watch

Smartwatches seem like a natural place to use Shazam’s music recognition abilities, so today the company has added support for Android Wear.

The watch app can be launched with either through Wear’s app launcher or a voice command. When a song is identified, it’ll be saved to your phone should you want to make a purchase later. And you still get lyrics right on your watch if you want to sing along.

To try it, just download the most recent version of Shazam for Android from the Google Play Store on your phone – the watch app will be synced automatically.
