Monster’s TalentBin skips resumes to help recruiters find tech talent in Asia

Monster’s TalentBin skips resumes to help recruiters find tech talent in Asia

Job search portal Monster announced today that its 2014 acquisition TalentBin — a tool that looks at blogs, social posts and more to help recruiters fill vacancies with specialized tech talent — now includes candidates from across Asia.

Monster says TalentBin’s engine scours the Web for content related to various fields in technology, and builds creator profiles that recruiters can then access. The tool launches today across India, Hong Kong, the Gulf and Southeast Asia.

The approach is interesting, because it eschews traditional resumes – Monster’s usual way of displaying candidate information – and taps directly into the content they create.

TalentBin also highlights when shortlisted candidates are connected to existing staff on social media, opening up a more personal way of getting in touch.

TalentBin plans start at $500 per user per month.
