Gumroad launches its first Android app to help users access mobile-friendly content

E-commerce service Gumroad today announces the Gumroad Library for Android app, the counterpart to its iOS app launched last September.

gumroad library for android“As we see more and more creators focusing on content best consumed by mobile devices (in addition to music, books, and films, we’re seeing tons of Gumroad creators selling instructional video content like yoga classes and cooking lessons that truly require the portability of a mobile device),” the company said.

The Gumroad Library app allows users to access mobile-friendly content from their desktop library on the go. Content will also auto-update between all platforms, ensuring the latest versions of purchased items are available wherever the user accesses it.

The look and feel of the app is also in tune with Google’s Material Design aesthetic, fitting right in with the latest version of Android.
