Sonos releases controller update for iOS and Android with multi-account support and more

The latest version of Sonos’ controller for iOS and Android has landed, with some great new features in tow for owners of the multi-room music system.

Sonos 5.2 brings support for multiple accounts for each music service, so everyone in the house can use their own Spotify or Google Play account on Sonos.

The update also promises improved global music search on both iOS and Android so you can find tracks more easily across services, along with lockscreen music controls for Android users.

There are a bunch of other smaller fixes too, like improved sound for Playbar owners and a new icon/splash screen for the Sonos mobile app.
