Deezer added to ever growing list of services to support Google Chromecast

Deezer added to ever growing list of services to support Google Chromecast

Music streaming service Deezer has announced that Premium+ subscribers will soon be able to make use of Google Chromecast integration, allowing them to ‘cast’ content directly from the Deezer apps for iOS and Android devices to a big screen.

As well as offering basic Chromecast support, the update also allows multiple Deezer users to control the app on one TV simultaneously, thereby providing a handy way to co-create a playlist in a roomful of friends. These can also include Deezer-curated suggestions.

The update is timed nicely to coincide with an introductory discount for Deezer Premium +, which normally costs £9.99 per month but is currently being offered for £4.99 per month. The new feature is due to start rolling out from tomorrow.
