E-commerce site ModCloth launched a new mobile feature for its iOS app today that aims to help users find the best fit products. Called Fit for Me, it offers recommendations on clothing by taking into account your measurements and basing it on peer reviews who are similar to you.
It’s pretty well known that peer and product reviews help to contribute to purchasing decisions.Seeing that more than 80 percent of its products have reviews while 55 percent include measurements, ModCloth decided to launch this feature to help individuals find perfectly fitting clothes.
Through the iOS app, users can enter their measurements, including height, waist and hip measurements, as well as bra size, and Fit for Me will parse through ModCloth’s database of reviews to find products that match the inputted data.
Fit for Me is only available on ModCloth’s iOS app.
