Never Forget a Website with RemindThis

Never Forget a Website with RemindThis

RemindThis is a widget that helps people get email reminders about the websites worth visiting again.

We come across a lot of websites and blogs over the course of a browsing session. Typically, a bookmark manager will be put to use to save the link for accessing in the future. However, for most of us, bookmark managers mean one way traffic. We save the links, forget about them and save some more on top of it.

To avoid this predicament and to get yourselves alerted about notable online destinations to check out again, one should definitely use RemindThis.

All the webmaster has to do is copy the embed code that’s available upon registration and paste it in the pages they want in their website. RemindThis does all the heavy lifting by itself. No coding knowledge necessary.

A user has to hover over the RemindThis icon to activate the widget. The details required to receive an email alert are rather trivial. A valid email address and the date when the alert has to be sent will suffice. Verification emails would be sent to your email address, so be sure that the address is alive. Yes, it is possible to set up multiple alerts for the same website (for whatever your reason may be). All of this is done free of charge too!

The downside of RemindThis is that webmasters have to add the code on the server side and make the widget available to everyone. But, I would suggest the developers extend the functionality to a browser plugin that sends email alerts using the preset POP or IMAP server information. Now, that would be so cool!
