FriendFeed app comes to Android with FFHound!

FriendFeed app comes to Android with FFHound!

Remember FriendFeed?  Those here at TNW certainly do.  We use it and suspect that many of you all do as well even after the company was acquired by Facebook over a year ago.

Some background for those unfamiliar with FriendFeed, FriendFeed is a real-time feed aggregator that consolidates the updates from social media and social networking websites, social bookmarking websites, blogs and micro-blogging updates, as well as any other type of RSS/ Atom feed.

On the iPhone to keep up with updates from FriendFeed, I use two apps, FreshFeed and FFHound!.  Now one of these great apps, no doubt to the enjoyment of my Android-toting brethren, has arrived in the Android Market, FFHound! for Android (€1.59,  $2.16)

The app supports:

  • Multiple accounts
  • Creations favorites list
  • Notifications via Status bar on new DM, via customizable scheduling

  • Browsing of all feeds
  • Geo tagging of posts
  • Fast browsing

For FriendFeed users looking for an app that provides a tremendous amount of functions, a clean, easy-to-use, interface and more, FFHound! is a must investigate, if not buy.  Get the app here or below.

Were/are you a FriendFeed user?  If you continue to use FriendFeed, do you use it as often as you do other social networks?
