One issue that I invariably have is that I do most of my writing on my desktop computer, but then I’ll move to my laptop on a whim. When I do that, I lose my recent history and any open tabs that I might have been working with.
The Firefox Sync extension fixes this issue, by synchronizing your information across all of your Firefox sessions. Today, Sync takes a step into the mainstream, graduating from the Firefox Lab.
According to the Mozilla Blog, the Sync extension will become a built-in feature of Firefox in the near future. Until that time, though, you can download and start using the extension now. You’ll be able to keep tabs open, as well as synchronize your passwords, history and bookmarks.

- Availability in more than 15 languages including German, French, Spanish, Italian, and Chinese
- A simpler sign-up and setup process
- A single button to access all your remote tabs and more.
