Apple’s App Store and iCloud are down for some

Apple’s App Store and iCloud are down for some

The Apple App Store and iCloud appear to be down for many users at the moment.

While the front page of the App Store appears to be fine, apps are failing to download or update. I tried to update my Snapchat app and download the Moleskine Timepage app and both times it failed.

iCloud also appears to be having a bad day. Some users are unable to sign in on Macs, iPhones, iPads and iCloud.com.

Apple’s own status page has yet to acknowledge the apparently widespread outage, although it has been slow to update during past outages as well.

Reports of issues started appearing on Twitter over an hour ago from the US, Canada and across Europe. We have contacted Apple about the issue and will keep you posted with any further information.

Some of the TNW team members in the US, UK and Ireland have been able to access iCloud and the App Store without issues as well, so let us know where you are and whether or not you are experiencing an outage.

UPDATE – 18:07 GMT/ 13:07 ET: All services appear to be back online.
