You can now pre-order your very own Apple Watch

You can now pre-order your very own Apple Watch

That’s right, you can now pre-order your very own Apple Watch for pick up from an Apple Store or delivery on April 24.

Starting now, you can get in a virtual queue for your own Apple Watch. All models ranging from the Sport, which starts at $349, to the Watch Edition that goes up to $17,000, are available for pre-order.

The company’s new concierge site is now open to take appointments for people who want to visit a store and try on the Watch for themselves before buying.

What’s unclear is just how long you’ll need to wait for the model you want to be available. Many watches will ship on April 24th but some reports have suggested that supply will be constrained at launch, just like with the iPhone.

Regardless, if you want your Apple Watch sooner rather than later, it’ll pay to get your pre-order in now. In just a matter of minutes since orders opened, delivery dates have begun slipping as far as August for some variants and strap options.

Update: It looks like nearly all Apple Watch models are sold out now, with only 38mm stainless steel version with a black Classic Buckle remaining on the company’s US site.

In addition, AppleCare+ protection pricing is now visible on Apple’s online store. It costs $49 for Apple Watch Sport, $69 for Apple Watch and a whopping $1,500 for Apple Watch Edition.  You can also purchase AppleCare+ for both your iPhone and Apple Watch together, but doing so won’t affect the price of the individual devices.
