As the App Store becomes increasingly bloated with new releases and updates, it’s harder than ever to find the apps you want.

Apple is trying to tackle the problem with an overhauled App Store, which includes a new Explore tab at the bottom for discovering apps. You can scroll down a simple, vertical field and easily look through categories and sub-categories to find exactly what you’re looking for.

As you search for new apps to download, Apple will also suggest new, refined searches to help you better convey the utility or subject matter that you’re interested in. Finally, the App Store will also show a new Editor’s Choice tag for apps which have been highlighted for their excellent quality or value. This seal of approval should, in theory, help users find better apps from Apple’s digital marketplace that they might have otherwise missed out on.
