Olloclip launches telephoto lens for iPhone, comes bundled with a circular polarizer

The Olloclip is pretty much the only iPhone photography accessory that I can recommend unreservedly to those interested in having just a few more options for shooting. Now, the company has launched a new telephoto lens to go with its wide angle/macro clip-on adapter.

the telephoto lens comes with the lens itself, a step-down ring for the filter and a circular polarizer. It will be available separately for $100 next month. I’m definitely going to try to get one of these in to check out, but DP Review shared a sample shot that seems to be pretty good so far.

A circular polarizer should go a long way towards cutting down on reflection and some of the atmospheric haze that’s going to be a bigger problem with a telephoto than it is with a wide angle. If you’re curious about the Olloclip, you can check out our review of the original here.
