This has to go down as one of the strangest workarounds of a tech issue we’ve seen in awhile: according to MacWorld, if you’ve been experiencing WiFi issues on your iPad, you should ratchet up the brightness on your screen.
Apple has officially acknowledged the WiFi issues and has promised a fix at some point (we’re guessing perhaps with the iPhone 4.0 OS update). However, in the meantime Apple confirms that if you’re having problems brighten your screen:
“If brightness is at lowest level, increase it by moving the slider to the right and set auto brightness to off.”
Makes perfect sense.
