With enough evidence of an upcoming Apple Tablet, named the iSlate, to convince even the most skeptical reader it is time to ask yourself the question: Am I buying one?
I agree, that is a tough question because you and I have no idea what exactly the iSlate is. But some of you buy anything coming from Apple as long as it is packaged well, and it always is.
I will say now that if Apple comes out with something called the iSlate in January which will be even remotely cool I will be ordering it from the Apple Store even before the keynote is over.
So, time for a poll. Are you saving money for the iSlate or will you skip it for the second version? Leave your comments here and don’t feel shy to add your own answers:

Forget that, I want a Cintiq.
But are you saving for it?
I’m a big Apple fan but think I’ll wait for version 2. My son had bad experiences with the first version of the Macbook Pro and I had problems with the first iPhone.
Can’t wait for the v2 iSlate mind :-)
You know I heard that it may be a e-reader a couple of weeks back…even if it is…I would still get it. (Already saved up for it) In my dreams…it would have dual functionality e-reader\tablet nirvana..but that may be streching it. I have decided to bypass the nook to get the iSlate (or iTablet or iBook or iPage) as with all things apple it is sure to have a awesome interface. I too had pains with the v1 Iphone but seriously….how else are we going to keep the economy running if we don;t buy v1, v2, v3 etc….=0)
I want to see if it competes directly with the Wacom Cintiq. The Cintiq starts around $900 and goes up to $3000. If the iSlate is a touch-screen All-screen tablet COMPUTER, functions as a real monitor rather than simply as an e-book or an internet display and if I can open Photoshop CS4 on it, I’m interested.
