My 27" with 8gig of ram and the best processor is supper slow. I am not impressed at all. My old PC smokes it. Although, windows 7 runs really well in bootcamp but mac programs take forever to load.

It could be a software problem. All the Mac models are shipping with Snow Leopard, and not to beat a dead horse, but I stated on an earlier blog my opinion of Apple's latest OS, with it turning my sprightly Mac Mini into a buggy box reminiscent of Windows ME. Thank you The Next Wev for keeping us informed, and I do hope Apple can resolve the problem quickly. Have there been any reports of other hardware configurations with these symptoms? I haven't looked for supporting details yet, but I wonder if the ailing models are using the C2D or Core i7 processors, and which graphic chips. The architecture change could account for the bugs.
