I think the reference to Digg is from the perspective that the users clicking &quot;like&quot; (= interactions, could also be retweets, bloglinks etc) is helping other by filtering out the most important stuff.

As Martin pointed out, there&#039;s two views. &quot;Incoming&quot; where all posts are coming, in chronological order, and &quot;Popular&quot; where the filtered stuff are shown.

So, basically, Twingly Channels are interactive memetrackers for any topic. Hacker News+Techmeme mixed to one.

		<description>I agree with some of the commenters that this is sort of like Friendfeed.  I don&#039;t understand the references to Digg though.  Stuff that people are actively commenting on are usually at the top of my Friendfeed stream.</description>
