I am experiencing a similar situation where no one really bothers to read or understand what's going on. Read my post that I just did. I can't even find it myself! It's no wonder that so much of everything gets twisted and misinterpreted. These little incidents parallel microcosms of what's wrong with our society and our world. Life sucks! I agree. In fact, I teach this stuff all about Netiquette and I think it's a good point. Now, of all the insipid things to happen, is that I used two (2), yes two words in all caps in an email to my school and was called on the carpet for it. I believe that the rule is that one should not type the entire message in all caps, but two words???? Hey, come on! Get real. Why can't people read and then understand what they read. Oh, I forgot to mention: in our limited email Outlook program, there are absolutely no font modifications available, such as bold, italics, colors, or any way to emphasize a word or two (2), which is why I emphasized these two (2) words in the first place with all caps. If that's wrong then there is something really wrong with the way people interpret what they read and understand. Logic has flown out the window. Very interesting about the ALL CAPS crap.
