MacRumors has picked up possible specs for the next generation iPhone. The credibility of this information is very doubtful but we love a good rumor so here we go.
These specs are from a new iPhone model with serial number “MB717LL”. The specs:
- 600MHz CPU Speed (up from 400MHz)
- 256MB RAM (up from 128MB)
- Digital Compass and FM
- 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus
- 32GB size
- No major changes in battery, screen and external casing.
So, after reading this, how big are the chances you will be getting a new iPhone within the next 3 months?
That last ‘fact’ seems odd and certainly can’t be concluded by studying the screenshot here. I’m hoping for a thinner, lighter and maybe even smaller next generation iPhone.
Maybe something earth shattering, sexy and cool like this to once and for all shut up all the iPhone-haters out there?
I use my phone all the time for video and photos. I have a Nokia N95 and that sucker just rocks. Otherwise, it’s a very decent phone. The ONLY reason I haven’t switched to an iPhone yet is the lack of video and a decent camera. I know I can jailbreak it, but I hate the idea of having to “break” my phone just to make it work.
So long as the new iPhone has a 3+ MP camera and video recording, it’s going on my shopping list…
Plus the new iPhone OS 3.0 will support Greek, which is my native language, and thus making it more appealing to my market.
I’m thinking on buying my first Iphone this summer… Then again, the palm pre looks so good! Difficult choice.
No matter what.
I’m going to buy it.
