Recently released to the app store is “Pin Up Weather”, an absolutely hilarious take on the daily weather report.
Veteran iPhone/Android app developers, Visuamobile, describe their app:
“A beautiful girl will tease you until you get today’s forecast with your sky condition and the temperature you’ll feel.”
Just like John Mahoney at Gizmodo, I thought that David Lynch’s daily weather report had viral potential…Sorry Mr Lynch, consider yourself defeated.
You can download the app via the appstore here for £1.19/$2.

What a crap post
I haven’t looked at this app, and probably won’t just on principle. Visuamobile have another app called ‘smartRSS 2′ which remains in the App Store and NOT free, and is, as far as I can see, entirely unsupported by them. It utterly fails to live up to its App Store description and gets zero support, while continuing to be a paid-for app.
My view is sort out and support your existing apps before putting any resource into new ones – or at least have the decency to pull your shite efforts out of the store!
I’ve blogged about this in greater detail, here:

(vimeo removed it?)
really? what did you dislike out of curiosity? Would have liked to have known more info on the apps features? Or do you dislike the idea behind the application? I’m genuinely intrigued. A bit more constructive criticism is always appreciated.
it’s actually great, because it covers the app briefly with a video, unlike some posts where they could two pages long that talk about nonsense
keep it up mate
robert, your comment is crap.
should you love it or not, at least when you post, please explain us.
indeed you made me buying this app and well, it’s a nice funny app, that’s it!
