For the romantics out there who can barely hold a note, a Canadian startup called TailoredMusic comes to your rescue.
The service provides customised love songs performed by professional musicians ranging from Reggae to Jazz music stle. Simply select a song ‘template’, customize the lyrics whilst listening to the track in the background and place your order.
You can choose to receive the song online (mp3 or WAV) or gift wrapped CD with the printed lyrics. Sadly, you do need 1-2 weeks before the track is ready which rules valentines day out (sorry!) and the gift wrapped CD adds another week onto that (really sorry!).
Prices vary between $99-$249 (US) which isn’t exactly cheap considering you could find a musical friend to record it onto their MAC/PC for a pint of beer – that said, that’s a fair bit of work :)
