I can see pareto curve already, after some consolidation in the next 1 year will be even clearer. You wanna be on the top ASAP if you are not already there .
Thanks for pointing out this resource, looks like Tweetdeck is slowly pulling away.
I hope they make a few critical updates to their search/filter infrastructure, such as allowing more complex/advanced searches and filters on both the firehose (needs “filter:links” and “-” exclusions) and the “with friends” stream (needs everything including AND, OR, and exclusions simultaneously WITH a search term, and MOST of all, a way to save these queries as separate streams (like search).
I’ve been playing with piping my “With Friends” feed into Thunderbird, and sorting/filtering it there, and while that’s pretty insightful for deeper analysis (once you have 50,000 tweets to play with asf.), ultimately I shouldn’t have to do this for everyday use. I thought that that’s what Tweetdeck was for…
