[...] Last time I wrote about Mobypicture, I received some complaints the service wasn’t “revolutionary” enough. Maybe that’s because the service has been around for a couple a years and, despite an awful design, managed to grow a loyal user base. It just offers a simple and blazing fast way to upload your pics from a mobile phone. [...]

It just might be exactly because it is such a non-revolutionary and simple app, I never expected this on the NEXT web. Hence the question: is there such a thing as a Previous Weblog? ;)

I've read the post two times but don't see anything revolutionary in the way of writing. Glad to hear though that even simple news posts like these "sound" revolutionary to you.

@sam
we create the username for you, but also generate a PIN code for you which has nothing to do with you Twitter password. You can then send the updates to mobyusername.pin@mobypicture.com

@jerry
the PIN doesn't necessarily have to be the same as the PIN you use for your bank :)

@Ernst-Jan Thanks for the posting about this!

What I think is 'revolutionary' about this is that you can start using the service directly from your mobile for the first time without having to signup earlier. This makes it really convenient for events and when you're in public places... *read bars and clubs ;)*

Well, there are many services which offer similar functionality. Mobypicture just works. Nothing too spectacular, but it works and that is why I use it too...
