Firefox 3.1 Brings Safari Like Tab-Tearing to the Party

Continuing on with my completely unplanned Firefox theme for the day, we have just discovered that Firefox 3.1 will include Safari like Tab-Tearing which essentially allows you to drag one of your tabs out of one window to create a new window with that tab. Confused? See the video below:


I’ve actually already started using Firefox 3.1 full time, which you can download here, and in all honesty say – it feels faster and more reliable than ever. The speed is mainly derived from Firefox’s new javascript engine Trace Monkey, click here to learn how to enable trace monkey in Firefox 3.1.

note: Firefox 3.1 is still very much in beta.
