Sounds like a 'glass half full of half empty' kind of thing. Although the Blog has a LOT of readers and RSS is cool we still notice that more people read email than subscribe to RSS. That makes email the logical solution to choose to invite people. We also want to give people who visited the conference before a head-start when it comes to ordering tickets.

But maybe we should start another list for people who ONLY want to be invited and don't want to receive a weekly update? Any other suggestions to improve this process?

So, you punish those of your readers that actually use the "next web" instead of sticking to old fashioned mail?

Sad. Very sad.

Will stick to the RSS Feed of your site.
