OK, we've been trying Blogupp for less than a week at www.cheeze.com/blog and we are seeing some fair stats [I would always like more traffic] - the interesting thing is that the average visit length is over 2 minutes, looking at an average of 2.5 pages oer visit. I was pleasantly surprised by this and I hope we continue to get more visits.

If you are looking for the referring source in your webstats it appears as adv.blogupp.com with each click appearing as /code245377b7-445e-4e1e-9443-e787883d65f0 [of course the numbers change] - I assume that this is a cache busted link so we can't actually identify the sites driving traffic, but I am happy to be corrected.

As for the other issues mentioned above, thanks everyone for your input.
@Wouter: The business model is based on the sharing ratio of 10:9, which means that we keep 1 impression out of 10 for selling it thereafter. There are no other hidden charges and no tricks behind it.

@Sander: We've intentionally made the widget unobtrusive, not to distract the readers too much. We'll change carefully this aspect to ensure the best possible CTR for our community bloggers, as well as keep it friendly for the readers.
There is a post on our blog, titled "We do no magic", which is meant to help with the expectations from the service.
Please note as well that particularly for Dutch language, for now there are not very many blogs using the service; so it will take some time before you could get the most out of it.
Thanks in advance for your understanding.

That's an interesting finding, Jamie.
Normally that behavior is caused by a JavaScript, whereas our widget is iFrame based and shouldn't be the cause.
From what we see through Fiddler, it's ShareThis which is delaying the loading of your blog.

Nevertheless, we'll take a closer look into the issue to make sure we haven't missed anything.

OK, we've hooked it up on www.cheeze.com/blog and first impressions is that it kills site load speed. That may be because it is first load, but we will see...

I did give it a try, but I don't find it very attractive. I give it some time. Time will tell if its works.

I am always interested in the business idea (business model) behind the start-up. Why not ask that the next time? Tnx

This looks an interesting service, but I am curious to see how it is different from the banner exhanges of old, and other similar, but potentially lees reputable feed/blog exchanges? Is there are 'new' USP or just great spin?
