Xavier I believe that some of the new visualization of search results sites are already using #BOSS.

Another point: Google has opened up its translation 'machine' to developers, and I believe the long run impact of that will be greater than Yahoo opening up search.

Imagine a lingua franca 'service.' No more translators; just communication. One can imagine this starting in an important way in chat rooms aimed at teenagers who would love to communicate with other teenagers around the world. As the translation capabilities improves we will all be using it -- Ernst-Jan can write his blogs in Dutch and I can read it in English. I can write my comments in English and you can read them in the language of your choice.

It is going to be a different world.

It is indeed a very bold move from #Yahoo.
They have nothing to loose anymore so we can expect such daring leaps and that's all good for the industry.

Can't wait to see the first mashup using #BOSS.
