I agree with Ernst-Jan’s regarding needing a reason to return, and though the idea of ‘artists like this’ is a good one, I think it is more interesting to just show me who is playing near me.

I recently launched a site which takes the concert listings from MySpace and shows you who is playing where. Still a work in progress, but you can search by city/town, listen to sample clips, etc.

Have fun at the concert, I saw him a few years ago in Nijmegen (RockinPark)

But, as Frank Herrman said, this would work so much better if it would list stuff in my neigbourhood.

I would like an option to see which concerts are in the next couple of months in my country/state/town. I would like to see a lot of artists performing, I’m not interested in the data of just one artist. But I can imagine a lot of data (too much..) would be generated on the map.

It looks nice, but as you said, not very interesting for a return visit.
